The more patterns your tribal nail design has, the better looking it will be. Start with a dry base color and paint few lines to act as your base for the patterns. Fill the lines with triangles, lines, zigzags, etc. Make sure to use at least three different colors for a tribal design to make the pattern really pop.

Tribal nail design isn’t complete without at least one triangle, right? This nail art designer recognized the importance of triangles in tribal nail art and created an absolutely gorgeous design with them in the spotlight.

Step 1: Start by applying a nude nail polish as you base color.
Step 2: Wait for it to dry and using a detailing nail brush, draw the first yellow triangle and fill it in.
Step 3: Paint the turquoise triangle using the same technique.
Step 4: Paint red chevron tips using a detailing nail art brush and outline it with black polish. Outline the triangles, too.
Step 5: Paint a straight line, crossing the red tips.
Step 6: Create eight small dots on each nail.

5. Simple Nude Design

We especially love tribal designs paired with simple nails. As you can see, nude nail polish will make your complex pattern really pop. For drawing patterns, use a small thin brush or a nail art pen. These brushes are perfect for  a clean and precise look.
